Bright and talented actress, Natalie Portman, seems like the picture of normal behavior. But Natalie revealed recently, to the Los Angeles times,that she really throws herself into her roles. When she was 14 years old, she cut herself.
Natalie starred in the movie, “Heat” in 1994 about a young girl who dies. The movie was intense and Natalie said that after the movie, it affected her greatly. She got into a fight with her mother and afterward, cut her wrists…
Natalie says, “I made Heat when I was 14 and played a girl who died. A year later, I got into a fight with my mother and cut myself. I had never done it before and I never did it after that, but I think having my wrists bloody in a movie definitely affected my psyche.”
How crazy is that?! You never think that Natalie Portman would have that moment of weakness, cause she seems so normal. This is very Angelina Jolie of her. Who knew that Natalie Portman was affected so deeply in her movie roles? Does this mean she actually loves Zack Braff? Does she really make her friends call her, “Queen Amidala?”
I hope that Natalie Portman’s next film is one where she lends her amazing talents to struggling stars…there you go Lindsay Lohan, you’re saved.
